If you intend to expose your cable ties to UV rays for 10-12 years straight, you should use these special UV resistant cable ties.
They have a carbon black content of at least 2% and are therefore suitable for long-term use with direct UV exposure as well as use in water. If you want to make sure that your cable ties stay in great condition for a very long time, these special UV resistant cable ties are the ideal solution!
Generally, you can also use black nylon cable ties for areas with constant UV exposure. However, we only recommend those for an intended usage period of less than 10 years.
